After 2011 we adopted a double communication strategy:

1) first in order to reach out young scholars we opened a Young Urban Researchers Facebook page (currently more than 2500 likes from all over the world);

2) second we used the “news” section of our website as an information hub.

We considered this option more effective and with a potential for a higher outreach. The RC21 members’ mailing list and the Comurb_21 list are used to alert members and potentially interested parties of new initiatives and events (e.g. like conferences, summer schools, etc. etc.).
